Op to End of Week #6 FULL LIQUID DIET
- Water, Tap, Bottled, Flavored
but without added sugar
- Tea
- Crystal Light, Minute Maid
Light
- Diet Snapple
- Apple Juice, White grape
juice or cranberry juice diluted 50/50 with water
- Sugar-free Popsicles
- Sugar-free Gelatin ("Jello")
- Chicken Broth, Beef Broth,
Vegetable Broth
- Cream Soups, canned only
(none from restaurants)
- Tomato Soup
- Skim Milk or Non-Fat Lactose
Free Milk (eg, "Lactaid", "Dairy-Ease)
- Non-fat Sugar-freeYogurt,
plain or fruit flavored
- Apple Sauce
*** AVOID SUGAR AND
CARBONATED DRINKS.
EAT NO CHICKEN NUGGET, HAMBURGERS, EGG SALAD OR MASHED POTATOES.
Week 7 -
Regular food
- Well-cooked meats, vegetables,
bread, raw fruit
- Eat three meals per day
4-5 hours apart.
- Leave food on your plate.
Try three bites, wait ten minutes and see if you are full before eating
anymore.
- Do Not drink liquids for
30-45 minutes after each meal.
- Do Not drink beverages containing
sugar including fruit juice.
Eat No creamy, mushy,
soft, or crunchy foods including No ice cream, Milkshakes, Yogurt, Soup,
Cream of Wheat, Oatmeal, Grits, Mashed Potatoes, Salads with Mayo, Crunchy
Cookie, Cookie, Pretzels, Chips.
Avoid Chocolate, Carbonated Soda.
Take a Chewable multivitamin
with mineral everyday.
